Cryptocurrency in Python

Hey there,

so I was searching for a full blockchain and wallet coded in python. Id like to see how crypto currencies work really but I can only read code in Python really, so has anyone ever coded a full crypto currency in Python so I could take a look at the code to do some expirimenting on my own with crypto?

For what reason arent main cryptos coded in python though? What features does Python lack that main currencies and developers didnt use it? Or did I just didnt do my research correctly and there actually are a bunch of cryptos written in python?

As far as I know Python was only discovered for cryptocurrencies after a few years of the existence of Bitcoin.

So there should be planty of currencies i just didnt find?

No i actually havent. That website looks ancient to me but ill give it a try tomorrow

Yes, but why does it look like its from the 90s? Couldnt they have updated it since its been launched probably sometime in the early 2010s?

How can you search for things on github? And no I didnt but I actually found currencies using Python but I didnt find currencies using nothing but python. most if not all currencies using python use it together with other programming languages.

I don't know why we write in english, but ok.... the englisch community isn't very big here.

The seize of the community is the reason for me opening this in english. So yesterday when I did my research on this I did it in english so I think this gets our chances higher of being found on google and other search engines since many people do their research in english even if their mother tongue is something else. I thought this might be great that some people that speak english would join us. If we cant offer any english content who should decide to join us if they dont speak german? As far as I know its very difficult to get started with the if you cannot speak or understand german.
